Associate Companies

The associate companies are Devki Leasing and Finance Limited, which is listed on the Stock Exchanges of Mumbai, Indore and Ahmedabad and Brahma Builders Limited, which is a closely held public Limited Company.

Expansion of Present Project

Brahma Interactive has taken adjacent plot to VELOCITY III on which it proposes to build additional shopping area and connect to the existing building.

Demographics

Indore is one of the fastest developing cities of Madhya Pradesh and is also the Commercial/Business/Industrial capital of Madhya Pradesh. Indore is strategically located halfway between Mumbai and Agra on NH3.

Indore has a population of around 2.5 Million and a literacy rate of over 60% and is a truly cosmopolitan city with a good balance of people from all castes and religions language is Hindi & English.

The new city is developing in NE part of city and happening places like Bombay Hospital, both five star hotels, CHL Apollo Hospital, Prestige Institute of Management, best residential colonies like Scheme No. 54, Scheme No.74 and Mahalaxmi and all Automobile Showrooms like Honda, Toyota, Hindustan Motors, Mahindra & Mahindra etc. are located here in close vicinity of VELOCITY III.

Indore is also a very old educational city having a Medical College, Dental College, Engineering College and number of prestigious schools, Colleges and Polytechniques. The Holkar Science College, Medical College and Daly College are more than 100 years old. There has been a rapid development in the field of education with a host of schools and colleges coming up in the last decade like Indore Public School, Agrawal Public School, Delhi Public School, Bhuvans, Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Prestige Institute of Management, two Dental Colleges etc. etc. Therefore Indore is becoming a major student destination.

Indore has got advanced medical facilities with hospitals like M.Y. Hospital, T Choitram Hospital, Apollo Hospital and other good private hospitals. The latest addition to the medical facilities is in the prestigious Bombay Hospital.

Indore has a history of old Textile Mills which are now unfortunately closed. However, Indore has two new Industrial Townships of Dewas & Pithampur which are just 20 - 30 KM from Indore. They have prestigious projects like Tata Exports, Gajra Gears, Bank Note Press, Kirloskar Brothers, Hindustan Motors, Eicher Motors, Bajaj Auto, Kinetic Engineering, Kores India etc. etc.to name a few. There is a proposal to build a Auto Testing Track at Pithampur.

Indore is very well connected by Road being situated on NH3. There are direct trains to Mumbai, Delhi, Ahmedabad, Pune, Jaipur, Cochin, Kolkatta and other parts of the country. Both Jet Airlines & Indian Airlines operate number of flights daily to Mumbai & Delhi and also provide connecting flights to all the other parts of the country. Indore Airport is soon going to get converted to International Airport

Shopping

As far as the National Players in shopping are concerned, Globus has a 45000 Sq. Ft. store at Indore which is doing very well. Local stores like Agarwal Stores, Pakiza, Vishal Stores also do very well. All National Brands are available. Recently, Treasure Island Shopping Mall has opened at M G road, Indore.

Next Project ( Another Multiplex)

Encouraged by the success and response of VELOCITY III the promoters now plan to set up another project in the other end of Indore & Bhopal which is very densely populated area. The proposed project cost is 33 Crore. Now the promoters have the expertise & also with another 7 screens & total of 10 screens will have a greater bargaining power for getting movies at better terms both for exhibition and distribution of movies.
